Library

The highlight of the temple is a well equipped library which operates from 7 A.M. to 9 P.M. A membership fee of Rs.12 and an annual fee of Rs.6 is collected from the members. Publications of about Rs. 2500 / - per month including 6 Malayalam dailies, one English daily and other periodicals. The library has over 500 members. The book collection contains over 3200 books in various categories. There are numerous rare reference books (Ayurveda, religion, temples, etc.) as well as 12 volumes of the most ancient book, Hortus Malabaricus.
